PetChat Terms of Use

PetChat makes fictional dialogue for entertainment. It is not an animal translator or medical service.

Using PetChat

These terms govern PetChat and its related pages provided by Cerebra Enterprises. Use the app only where you have the right to capture the scene and the people in it. Obtain permission before recording, transcribing or sharing someone else’s image or words where required. The Privacy Policy explains data handling and the separate cloud AI consent.

Creative output and limits

PetChat invents short lines inspired by a camera frame, what you say and sounds it hears. Its output may be inaccurate, repetitive or unavailable. Do not treat it as a translation of a pet’s thoughts, proof of emotion or intent, veterinary guidance, or advice about feeding or medication. Seek qualified professional help for animal health or safety concerns.

Your content and sharing

You retain rights you hold in your camera images, recordings and words. You grant Cerebra and its Cloudflare processor the limited permission needed to process a frame and the accompanying text and return a line when you choose cloud AI. Cerebra does not claim ownership of your saved local moments. You are responsible for the rights, accuracy and appropriateness of material you share and for the terms of the destination service. The visible PetChat watermark identifies the creative app and may not be removed through an app export setting.

Acceptable use

Do not use PetChat to create or share unlawful, abusive, hateful, exploitative or threatening content; to violate another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights; to capture other people’s conversations without permission; to misrepresent AI dialogue as a scientific animal translation; or to evade service security and usage limits. Do not direct the camera at private material you lack permission to process.

Availability and third parties

Live dialogue requires internet access, cloud AI consent, a supported device and available service capacity. Usage and session limits protect the service; continuous translate pauses after ten minutes. Local replay and export depend on the saved files remaining on your device. Cloudflare provides hosting and Workers AI processing; Apple supplies iOS, on-device speech recognition, device services and the share sheet; a service you choose to share with applies its own terms. Links to outside services are for information, not an endorsement.

Limitations and questions

To the extent permitted by applicable law, PetChat is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, particular output, or recovery of local files after device loss or deletion. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded. For questions, email corporate@cerebraenterprises.com.
